Bam Adebayo scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Miami Heat narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 120-119 on Monday night.
Miami ended a two-game losing streak and secured their second road win in five games, moving to a 1-2 record on a four-game trip. The Heat shot 54.2% from the field and made 12 of 25 three-point attempts.
The Clippers shot 50% from beyond the arc, hitting 17 of 41 three-pointers, but committed 21 turnovers that Miami converted into 37 points.
Miami held a 120-116 lead after two free throws by Adebayo with 56 seconds remaining. Though Adebayo missed a close shot with 26 seconds left, Harden responded with a three-pointer, pulling the Clippers within one point with 20 seconds left.
