2 Penn State Seniors Trending Up, Another Down Before Ohio State Game
Penn State faces a tough challenge in its remaining five games, starting with two against Indiana, followed by matchups with Michigan State, Nebraska, and Rutgers. The Nittany Lions must win at least three of these games to become bowl eligible. However, even if they qualify, the focus will remain on the search for a new head coach in Happy Valley.
The closing games primarily serve two purposes: identifying which younger players the team should prioritize for retention and giving senior standouts a chance to showcase their talents for NFL scouts.

Freshman Wide Receiver Koby Howard
Penn State’s passing game has struggled, ranking 110th nationally before this week. The anticipated impact from transfer receivers Kyron Hudson, Trebor Peña, and Devonte Ross has not materialized. Freshman Koby Howard is expected to help improve this area.
