4 Students Accused In Melaka Gang Rape Case Expelled Immediately
Education Director-General Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad announced that the decision was made on 13 October.
According to Berita Harian, the decision was made by the ministry's Lembaga Tata Tertib Sekolah, which convened earlier today.
Education Director-General Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad said the suspects would face appropriate punishment under existing provisions of the Penal Code if found guilty.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said and Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek commented on the decision.
