Adelaide’s much-anticipated Christmas Pageant kicks off tomorrow, marking the official start of the city's festive season. The beloved event is expected to bring together more than 300,000 spectators across the CBD.
Road Closures
To ensure the safety of both attendees and performers, several major roads will be closed from early morning until early afternoon.
- King William Street: closed from South Terrace to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, 5 am to 1 pm.
- Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga: fully closed from 5 am to 1 pm.
- Hindmarsh Square/Mukata: closed from midnight until 1 pm, between Grenfell and Pirie Streets.
- Additional restrictions apply along Grote, Wakefield, North Terrace, Pirie, Angas, Gouger, and Currie Streets during the morning.
Public Transport and Safety
