Poppies and related merchandise to support veterans are available in stores, legions, and online, including through the Royal Canadian Legion Amazon store. The Royal Canadian Legion launched this Amazon store for the second year, offering items like lapel pins, magnets, and poppy flowers in honour of Remembrance Day on November 11.
The Legion’s Poppy Campaign is their largest fundraising event, with 100% of proceeds going directly to assist Canada’s veterans and their families.
“The Poppy Campaign is the legion’s most significant fundraising effort, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to support Canada’s veterans and their families,”
The campaign began on Friday and will continue until Remembrance Day. Albertans can obtain pins either through the Legion’s online poppy store or by making a donation at traditional poppy boxes available in various locations across the province, including TD Bank branches.
