Three men have been charged with murder following the death of Kyle Bevan at HMP Wakefield. The prisoners appeared separately via video link at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Friday, 7 November 2025.

Kyle Bevan died in his cell at HMP Wakefield on Wednesday, 5 November 2025. Bevan was serving a minimum 28-year sentence after being convicted in April 2023 for the murder of his partner’s two-year-old daughter, Lola James, in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. He inflicted fatal head injuries during a six-hour attack in 2020.
