Montreal winger Cole Caufield has 10 goals this season and is on a three-game points streak, with six multi-point games so far. Drafted in the first round in 2019, Caufield has scored 10 or more goals in each of his last five seasons, including a career-best 37 last season. One of those goals was against the Devils.
Jack Hughes, who leads the NHL alongside Caufield in goals scored, netted the Devils' only goal in their recent 4-1 loss to Anaheim.
