StarLadder Names ZOWIE as Monitor Partner for Budapest Major
Esports tournament organiser StarLadder announced a partnership with gaming peripherals brand ZOWIE for the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, the official Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major event sanctioned by Valve.
As part of the agreement, ZOWIE will serve as the official monitor partner, supplying its XL2586X+ gaming monitors across all stages and the playoffs of the tournament. This ensures players experience stable and high-quality performance throughout the competition.
According to ZOWIE, 88% of professional players use its monitors during online and offline competitions.
The Budapest Major will take place from November 24 to December 14, 2025, featuring the world’s top 32 teams competing for a total prize pool of $1.25 million (£953,937) and aiming to make their mark in Counter-Strike history.
This collaboration marks a continuation of the partnership between the two brands, which first worked together in 2019 during the StarLadder Berlin Major. ZOWIE is now the second official partner of the Budapest Major, joining Esports Charts, the tournament’s analytics partner since July 2025.
Known for supporting several Tier 1 esports events over the past decade, ZOWIE continues to strengthen its presence within the professional Counter-Strike scene.
