Trump Addresses Israeli Parliament
Former US President Donald Trump spoke at the Knesset, Israel's Parliament, on Monday, 13 October.
During his address, two lawmakers briefly disrupted the event by displaying "Recognize Palestine" posters.
Trump expressed his appreciation for Arab nations and Muslim leaders "that came together to press Hamas, to set the hostages free".
He hailed the release of Israeli hostages as "an incredible triumph for Israel and the world" and thanked the "almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" for their return.
This is "not only the end of a war, this is the end of the age of terror and death."
Trump also stated that "the dagger of Hezbollah" aimed at Israel has been "totally shattered".
