Singer Tish Hyman confronted a transgender woman in the women's locker room at a gym in Los Angeles, claiming it was not her first encounter with men in that space. The incident took place at a facility formerly Gold’s Gym, now operated by EoS Fitness.
In a viral video, Hyman can be seen confronting the individual she described as a transgender woman. She expressed feeling scared and asked the person to leave, but they reportedly refused.
"I was scared, and I told him to leave. He would not leave, and had no regard for my naked body," Hyman said.
Hyman also stated this was not an isolated incident, claiming she had encountered men in the women’s restroom there four times in the past two weeks. Despite filing multiple complaints with gym staff, she says no actions were taken.
During the confrontation, the individual reportedly said,
"Straight women like to see D (genitals) so if anything, they’re looking at me more than you."
Hyman was shocked by this remark. Following the dispute, both parties were asked to leave the gym.
Hyman added that her membership was revoked due to her outburst during the incident.
The incident highlights ongoing tensions in gender-segregated spaces, with the singer's repeated complaints and dramatic confrontation drawing public attention to the issue.
