Charismatic singer, songwriter, and producer Joji has finally shared the release date for his fourth album, Piss In The Wind. The album will be launched on February 6, 2026, through Palace Creek. Fans can pre-order the album in both CD and LP formats.
Alongside the announcement, Joji released a new track from the album titled "If It Only Gets Better", accompanied by a music video. The song reflects Joji’s lo-fi beginnings, featuring acoustic guitar, syncopated bass, and soaring harmonies.
"If It Only Gets Better harkens back to Joji's lo-fi roots, blending acoustic guitar with syncopated bass and soaring harmonies."
The music video, directed by James Mao, playfully references Joji’s breakout hit "YEAH RIGHT" from his album BALLADS 1. It combines energetic, club-like visuals with minimalist yet impactful lyrics.
Piss In The Wind connects Joji's previous work with his current style, combining melancholic and raw lyrical content with atmospheric, textured production. Although the prior release Pixelated Kisses offers a different vibe, this album promises to reveal new facets of Joji's artistry.
"Piss In The Wind bridges Joji's past and present sonically, balancing melancholic and visceral writing with rough yet atmospheric production."
In October, Joji secretly released Pixelated Kisses, his first new music since 2022’s Smithereens. This followed the success of Glimpse of Us, a 2x Platinum RIAA-certified song that reached number one on Spotify's Global 50 chart.
Author’s Summary: Joji’s upcoming album Piss In The Wind promises a compelling blend of his early lo-fi style with matured, atmospheric production, marking a pivotal moment in his evolving music career.
