The PS Portal’s major new update is rolling out globally, transforming it into a full-fledged streaming hub for PlayStation titles. With this upgrade, users can stream more than 2,800 games directly to the handheld without the need to power on their PS5 console.
To access the new streaming feature, players need a PS Plus Premium subscription. Once subscribed, they can stream games directly from Sony’s servers, enjoying their library anywhere with a stable Internet connection.
“You’ll be able to dig deep into your catalogue, streaming games directly from Sony’s servers without ever needing to turn on your PS5.”
This improvement opens up new possibilities, such as playing while someone else uses the same console or tapping into your collection when traveling.
Although not all titles are included in the PS Plus Premium catalogue, the 2,800 supported games cover a vast portion of typical collections. Players can stream these titles directly to PS Portal or even to their PS5 console if they prefer.
“Even if you don’t own a PS Portal, you can also stream these releases directly to your PS5 as well.”
Fans are excited about revisiting favorite games on the go, like Astro Bot and Dave the Diver. Even larger titles such as Ghost of Yotei feel fresh when played handheld, and discoveries like Shinobi: Art of Vengeance show how expansive the updated library has become.
The PS Portal’s latest update revolutionizes remote gaming, offering seamless access to over 2,800 PS5 titles worldwide through PS Plus Premium streaming.
