Nearly 20 years ago, Ontario sisters Angela Marotta and Melissa Marotta-Paolicelli planted vines on land that would become Two Sisters Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Since then, their commitment to premium VQA wines and hospitality has only grown stronger.
Recently, they launched Stone Eagle Winery, aiming to further their mission of producing and sharing exceptional Ontario wines recognized globally.
"It was something that our family wanted to do for a very, very long time," Melissa said. "We have hospitality in our blood. I think that's what it is, just the love of sharing food and wine, and sharing our experiences that we love, with the public, and creating a space where people can enjoy high-end wine in a beautiful place, Ontario wines that can be recognized on the world stage."
Opening officially in 2014 with a 2010 vintage, Two Sisters Vineyards has become a distinguished name in Niagara's wine and hospitality scene over the past eleven years. Angela and Melissa continue to strive for growth in both wine production and visitor experience.
"Though the success of Two Sisters has been undeniable, we have always aspired to elevate our wine production and hospitality offerings to new heights," the sisters shared.
