The Sentinels tied the game with only 43 seconds remaining in regulation. Ethan Esposito scored on a power play, assisted by Romeo Torain and Bohdan Zinchenko.
Topeka clinched the victory 4 minutes and 40 seconds into overtime with a goal by Maximus Marek-Tortorella, assisted by Ashton Collazo and Marian Pazitka.
