Added Defensive Lineman
Bryan Bresee was included in the New Orleans Saints injury report with a back injury. Notably, he has never missed a game in his career with an injury. Bresee, in his third year, participated limitedly in practice. It remains unclear if the injury appeared during practice.
Player Performance and Status
- Bresee has recorded 1.5 sacks and 2 tackles for loss, starting all nine games this season.
- He has played a career-high 71% of the defensive snaps.
Other Injuries and Practice Status
Right tackle Taliese Fuaga continued to miss practice due to an ankle injury sustained against the Rams. Defensive tackle Davon Godchaux also rested as usual. These two players did not participate in Thursday’s practice.
Fuaga is unlikely to play against the Carolina Panthers this weekend, the last game before the Saints' bye week.
Remaining Injury Report
The rest of the injury report remains unchanged. Running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) and tight end Jack Stoll (ankle) were limited in practice. Quarterback Taysom Hill (knee), defensive end Cameron Jordan (ankle), and defensive end Jonah Williams (shoulder) participated fully.
Panthers Injury Update
The Carolina Panthers upgraded running back Rico Dowdle (quadricep) on Thursday; he was limited after missing Wednesday’s session.
