The Miami home of Heat coach Erik Spoelstra caught fire early Thursday morning, just after the team returned from a four-game road trip. According to the Miami Herald reporters Milena Malaver, Carl Juste, and David Neal, firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze around 5 a.m. ET, roughly 25 minutes after the Heat’s chartered flight from Denver landed.
The residence, located on a 43,000-square-foot property, was purchased in 2023 for $6.6 million. The fire burned for over four hours at the five-bedroom estate, which includes a pool and tennis courts. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
“Firefighters battled the blaze for more than four hours at the five-bedroom home,” reported the Miami Herald.
