To mark the vinyl release of her third solo album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, Hayley Williams unveiled a new surprise single titled “Showbiz.” The song joins “Good Ol Days” and “Parachute,” additions that appeared after the original 17-track album released earlier this summer through Post Atlantic and Secretly Distribution.
Williams collaborated with producer Daniel James, who co-wrote and shaped the entire record. “Showbiz” captures a vivid moment of desire and reflection during a hazy night in a club, touching on themes of connection and fleeting emotion.
“I wanna do it again, I wanna dance in the strobe lights, I wanna choke on the smoke, and feel your eyes on me.”
The accompanying visualizer highlights Nashville’s skyline, accented with the handwritten scribbles that define the album’s artwork. Record stores worldwide celebrated the vinyl launch with special “Ego Nite” events featuring album playbacks, exclusive merchandise, and limited LP copies.
Hayley Williams expands her latest album with “Showbiz,” a vivid new track reflecting the excitement and loneliness of nightlife amid her global “Ego Nite” celebrations.
