Six people were shot and one man was killed during three separate shooting incidents across New York City on Sunday night, according to authorities.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call in a building between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. They found three males, including a teenager, who were shot.
All three were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
About 20 minutes earlier, officers arrived at a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Street in Whitestone. They found a 39-year-old man shot in the left arm and a 49-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her right arm and torso.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A firearm was recovered, and detectives continue to investigate.
