Numbers from Friday’s $843 million drawing were 16, 21, 23, 48, 70 with the Mega Ball 5. Earlier in the week, Tuesday’s winning numbers were 11, 17, 57, 50, 14 with the Mega Ball 6.
Friday’s drawing marked the 38th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner since the last grand prize was claimed in Virginia on June 27. This streak now stands as the longest in Mega Millions history, surpassing the previous record of 37 drawings set on January 22, 2021, when a $1.05 billion jackpot was won in Michigan.
The last Mega Millions jackpot to be won in November occurred in 2016. Since the game’s launch in 2002, there have been 16 jackpots claimed during the month, with the largest being a $326 million prize awarded in New York on November 4, 2014.
