Origin of "Lash"
Howard explained how her time in WNBA arenas shaped her persona.
"My 'Lash' name originates from that experience," she said. "Whenever I step into an arena, I lash out, and that's a fact. It actually energizes me more. The bigger the venue, the more thrilled I become. Being in Indianapolis for the Royal Rumble was surreal; it felt like, 'Wow, this is a stadium, not just an arena.' I believe there were around 70,000 people there, and I thought to myself, 'This is absolutely incredible.'"
She noted that larger crowds fuel her drive even more.
