Former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj commented on the ongoing judicial developments in The Hague, describing them as “the latest twists and turns” in the trials related to Kosovo’s wartime leaders.
“We are seeing the latest developments in The Hague. Next year, we will celebrate together with our war comrades,” said Haradinaj.
He expressed optimism that the current legal process will soon conclude, allowing him and his fellow former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) members to reunite in freedom.
Haradinaj’s remarks refer to the continuing cases before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, which handle alleged war crimes committed during and after the 1998–1999 Kosovo conflict. Several former senior KLA members, including political figures, remain under trial in The Hague.
Haradinaj voiced hope that The Hague proceedings nearing their end will allow Kosovo’s wartime comrades to reunite and celebrate their shared struggle next year.
