Turning Slash Piles into Clean Energy
A 5-day course in Williams Lake offers training on building clean energy infrastructure in remote communities.
The course, provided by the Combined Heat and Power Academy, is free for Indigenous participants thanks to funding from Natural Resources Canada.
CHP plants can displace close to 100,000 litres of diesel per year and 300 tonnes of green house gas emissions.
