SpaceX Announces Commercial Cargo Missions to Moon and Mars

SpaceX has announced plans for regular commercial cargo missions to the Moon starting in 2028 and to Mars in 2030, with a cost of $100 million per ton.

The company aims to develop refueling and launches of the SpaceX Starship, with an unmanned test mission scheduled for 2026, requiring 8-12 refueling launches.

The test mission will necessitate at least two or three Starship launches each month from July to December 2026.

If successful, each fully fueled Starship could generate $10 billion to $20 billion in revenue per mission, depending on the payload capacity.

SpaceX is going to try to get refueling and launches of the SpaceX Starship developed so that they can send an unmanned test mission in 2026.
