Southern Nevada Community Celebrates Release of Israeli Hostages
The Southern Nevada community gathered at Café Landwer to celebrate the release of 20 Israeli hostages, a significant step in the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.
The Israeli-American Council hosted the event, which featured music and dancing as attendees expressed relief and joy.
"We're enjoying a lot of tears in our eyes. We just want to express our happiness,"
"It's still incredibly surreal. We've been waiting for this, praying for this, crying for this for two solid years,"
said Barak Lurie and Ruth Kantrowitz, respectively.
