LifeServe Blood Center Hosting Sioux City Blood Drive
In the spirit of the holidays, LifeServe Blood Center is encouraging volunteers to participate in a blood drive to help support patients who depend on blood transfusions.
As families gather for the holidays, many hospital patients spend the season relying on the generosity of blood donors. The blood drive is located at the Siouxland Chamber, 101 Pierce Street, from 11 a.m.
Holiday schedules, weather, and travel often reduce the number of blood donations at a time when a patient needs to remain steady. A single donation can give strength to someone battling cancer, recovering from surgery, or facing a traumatic injury.
Volunteers who are unable to attend the blood drive on Nov. are still encouraged to participate.
