Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office announced that Michael A. Davis, 40, has had his charges upgraded to First-Degree Murder as of Tuesday morning.
Davis is accused of shooting two people in Cole County. The victims, Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, both of Jefferson City, were transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, where they succumbed to their injuries.

Davis will be formally arraigned at his next court appearance on Friday.
Charges have been upgraded to reflect the deaths of the two women he's accused of shooting and killing in a car in Jefferson City.
