England Half Marathon Champions Crowned in Manchester
The streets of Manchester hosted the England Half Marathon Championships as part of the Manchester Half Marathon.
The quality of performances was high, despite cooler temperatures, with runners taking advantage of the perfect PB course.
The men's race saw a close battle, with Joe Wigfield (Wirral AC) winning in a new course record and personal best time of 62:04, just 5 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
The top three in each race took the gold, silver, and bronze in the England Athletics championships.
