Traffic congestion has become a significant issue in Eagle Mountain, Utah, with locals expressing frustration about the area's growth.
According to residents, the roads are struggling to keep up with the increasing population.
"Even the smallest accident or anything can really cause a problem,”said Lee Clyde, a resident who has experienced the congestion firsthand.
Clyde believes that the area's growth is outpacing the necessary road infrastructure.
"I think they are building homes, and denser development was approved. Not well thought out.”He added that
"It was approved before they really had the infrastructure for the roads."
The City of Eagle Mountain has stated that it has a long-term plan in place to address the increasing traffic and growth.
Notably, Eagle Mountain issued the most home building permits in Utah in 2024, according to a study.
