New York State Department of Transportation Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 14 for the new Sullivan County International Airport terminal building.
The $24 million project replaced a 50-year-old terminal, with the goal of attracting corporate and personal flights to the area.
Although there are currently no plans for airlines to operate at the airport, the new facility is expected to bring new opportunities to the region.
No immediate plans for airlines to be operating there.
