Commemorating Children Killed in Gaza
Palakkad hosted the 'Names of Gaza' event to honor children killed by Israel.
At Vatika Park, 100 voices read out 1,497 names of children killed in Gaza, including Maria Tariq Ziyad Al-Sheikh Ali, Fatima Mutasim Amin Nawfal, and Mohammed Khaled Mohammed Matar.
According to reports, at least 67,211 people, including 20,179 children, have been killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The event, organized by the Chintha Ravi Foundation, brought together participants from diverse backgrounds to give voice to those silenced by war.
Each name a life cut short, each pause a moment of collective mourning.
The event took place at Palakkad Fort on Saturday, October 11.
