In the wake of the horrific attack on September 11, 2001, a joke went around the Black community.
A joke from that time went something like this:
Black people were America’s second most hated racial group, because Arabs were America’s most hated racial group at that point.This joke was popularized in part by Aaron MacGruder’s newspaper comic strip The Boondocks.
The author notes that they miss The Boondocks comics and considers Aaron MacGruder another lost talent.
