Pastor's Background
Pastor Howard was born in Easley, S.C., and grew up in Pickens County. He attended Clemson University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in social work, and later received his theological training at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree.
Pastor Howard was taught to have a great work ethic by Pastor Garland Sentell of Pickens, S.C., who visited every patient at the local hospital every day at 7 o'clock in the morning.
