Veteran's Haven Transitional Housing
Veteran's Haven, a program of Family and Community Services, has launched a unique project in Ohio, providing transitional housing for 14 veterans.
Fourteen shipping containers have been delivered to the South Side, each containing a bedroom and bathroom, and will be connected to a central brick and mortar structure.
They'll have the common area in the middle of the building where there's going to be a kitchen, laundry facility, therapy rooms, office space, a television, a living room setting.
This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and will provide essential facilities for veterans, including a kitchen, laundry, and therapy rooms.
