Sudbury Symphony Orchestra brings Vivaldi to young audiences
The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is delighted to present a special theatrical symphony concert for young audiences on Oct. 26 at Place des Arts.
Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery
Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery is a live performance that blends theatre, mystery, history and music to spark curiosity and wonder in children aged five and up.
- Presented in English at 2 p.m.
- Presented in French at 4 p.m.
The story follows a young orphan girl in 18th-century Venice who sets out to uncover the secrets of her past, encountering the genius of composer Antonio Vivaldi and the mystery of a missing Stradivarius violin.
Audiences will hear more than 25 excerpts from Vivaldi’s greatest works, including The Four Seasons, the Violin Concerto in A minor and the Guitar Concerto.
