Man Shot and Killed After Shooting Involving Officers
A man has died after a shooting involving Phoenix police officers on Saturday night near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a fight. Upon arrival, they found a man and woman arguing near an apartment complex.
According to police, the man was allegedly holding a knife and failed to drop the weapon, leading to the officer-involved shooting.
The man died from his injuries at the scene. Fortunately, there are no injuries to officers and no outstanding suspects.
