Southern's entire Electrostar fleet has been refurbished with phone-charging points and improved wifi.
A £100m project has refurbished over 300 London commuter trains, ensuring they remain in service for another 15 years.
The project, which took five years to complete, was celebrated at Southern's Selhurst depot in south London.
The last of the 304 "Electrostar" trains is due to be returned to service, also operating the Gatwick Express.
