Robert Irwin's Emotional Dance Dedication
Robert Irwin, a 21-year-old wildlife conservationist, broke down after his dance dedication to his mom, Terri Irwin, on "Dancing with the Stars."
Backstage, Robert explained that he dedicated his dance to all mothers and anyone experiencing grief after loss.
"It was really hard to express that and really hard to actually get through a dance while internally you’re processing and getting all of these emotions out there,"
The emotional contemporary dance was a tribute to his mom and also dealt with grief over the loss of his late father, Steve Irwin. The performance ended with Terri joining her son on stage, leaving the audience and judges in tears.
