Domestic Dispute Turns Violent
A 21-year-old man from Lady Lake was arrested for battery after a physical altercation with his girlfriend.
According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, a deputy responded to a call at a home on Circle Drive in Lady Lake around 12:10 p.m. on Saturday.
Dispatch advised that she stated, "Stop hitting me," during the incident.
Upon arrival, the deputy heard an argument inside the residence, but it became silent after he announced himself. The suspect, Riley Wayne Patton, initially refused to let the deputy in, claiming it was not his house.
