Apple's Upgrade to AirPods Pro 3
Apple's vice president of hardware engineering, Kate Bergeron, discussed the AirPods Pro 3's major redesign for 2025 with British GQ.
Apple has been in the headphones market for over two decades, starting with wired in-ears that came with every new iPod, which became a status symbol.
"I started at Apple about four months after the first iPod was announced," says Kate Bergeron. "You showed up and you’d get your laptop, you got your CAD station, which was this unattractive HP behemoth, and I was sitting next to [iPod designer] Steve Zadesky's team.
