Kerala: Palakkad Industrial Smart City Development
The Kerala Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (KICDC) has announced that the Palakkad Industrial Smart City will be developed in a single phase under the Kochi–Bengaluru Corridor.
According to reports, KICDC has begun preliminary preparations to move the project into its execution stage, with the first coordination meeting scheduled for next week.
The project’s development works are expected to commence by the end of this month or early next month, said Industries Principal Secretary APM Mohammed Hanish.
The project involves representatives from the contracting consortium Dilip Buildcon–PSP Projects and the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).
