Obituary: Hugh Penman
Hugh Penman passed away on Friday, 3 October, after a lifetime of service to rugby.
He was a talented full-back, known for his goal-kicking accuracy, and later became an administrator with influence in the sport's highest corridors of power.
Hugh was a product of Edinburgh's Royal High School, where he was guided by teacher Doug Mitchell, a renowned rugby coach of the 1960s and 1970s.
His main attribute was his kicking for goal.
