Taylor Swift Fans Flood German Museum
A German museum has been overrun by Taylor Swift fans due to a painting that resembles a scene from her video "The Fate of Ophelia".
The Hessische Landesmuseum in Wiesbaden saw hundreds of additional visitors over the weekend, including a family from Hamburg and American families from a nearby U.S. station.
The visitors came to see an Art Nouveau painting by Friedrich Heyser featuring Ophelia, from William Shakespeare's play.
The painting bears a striking resemblance to the opening scene of Swift's current No. 1 hit video, "The Fate of Ophelia".
Museum spokesperson Susanne Hirschmann confirmed the influx of visitors to The Associated Press.
