2025 Shanghai Masters: Valentin Vacherot Wins Maiden Title
The 2025 Shanghai Masters was a family affair, with cousins Valentin Vacherot and Arthur Rinderknech meeting in the final.
Vacherot defeated Rinderknech 4–6, 6–3, 6–3, claiming his maiden ATP Tour title and upsetting his cousin, who was 150 places above him in the ATP Rankings.
Notably, Vacherot also defeated 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic in straight sets in the semi-final, as well as 14th seed Alexander Bublik and 10th seed Holger Rune.
