Hingham Unified Sports Coaches Speak at Conference
On October 17, 2025, Hingham Public Schools Unified Sports coaches Marlee Stanley and Joyce Eby participated in a panel discussion at the 2025 Unified Champions School Conference.
Coaches Stanley and Eby, with 4 and 7 years of experience respectively, shared their expertise on integrating Unified Champion Schools into the school culture, fostering a more inclusive and positive environment for all students.
Unified Sports programs, such as basketball and track at Hingham High School, unite students with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team, promoting friendship, understanding, and respect through shared athletic experiences.
The model is built on the idea that playing together creates a foundation for friendship, understanding, and respect.
