Two Baton Rouge Winn-Dixie Stores to Be Rebranded as Super 1 Foods
Two Winn-Dixie stores in Baton Rouge will reopen as Super 1 Foods after a rebranding by Brookshire Grocery Co. in November.
The stores, located at 8601 Siegen Lane and 13002 Coursey Boulevard, will close on November 16 and reopen the following week as part of Brookshire's Super 1 Foods network.
Brookshire Grocery Co. plans to keep existing employees and expand affordable grocery options in South Louisiana, offering lower prices, a wider selection of fresh products, and improved service.
Company officials said the move is part of a larger effort to strengthen Brookshire’s presence in South Louisiana.
