EU States Increase Russian Energy Imports in 2025
Seven EU member states have increased their imports of Russian energy in 2025 compared to last year, according to Reuters.
In the first eight months of 2025, the European Union imported over 11 billion euros ($12.7 billion) worth of Russian energy, despite a 90% reduction in reliance on Russian supplies since 2022.
