Satish Shah, Veteran Actor and Comedy Icon, Passes Away
Veteran actor and comedian Satish Shah, celebrated for his impeccable comic timing and versatility, passed away at the age of 74 on Saturday.
The news of his death was confirmed by his close friend and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, who shared a heartfelt message and picture on Instagram, as reported by Hindustan Times.
Sad and shocked to inform you that our dear friend and a great actor Satish Shah has expired few hours ago due to kidney failure. He was rushed to Hinduja Hospital where he breathed his last. Om Shanti.
Shah’s manager also confirmed the news to PTI, stating that the actor had been battling kidney-related complications.
Born in 1951 in a Gujarati family in the erstwhile Bombay State, Satish Shah’s acting journey began in the 1970s.
