Police Make Shock Discovery After Spotting Unusual Behaviour
Three people have been arrested after police found a firearm and two knives in a car on the A44.
In the early hours of October 12, the Cotswold Neighbouring Policing team observed a vehicle behaving unusually near Stow-on-the-Wold.
- The vehicle came to a sudden stop and activated its hazard lights.
- Officers found an air rifle in the passenger footwell of the vehicle.
- A police search of the vehicle revealed two knives.
The driver stated that they and the two passengers were out attempting to shoot pheasants.
Three people have been arrested following the discovery.
