Bulls Shake Off Illness to Claim ALM Win Over Reds
Macarthur FC have defeated Adelaide for their first victory of the A-League Men season, despite losing a trio of starting midfielders to illness.
The Bulls were without Anthony Caceres, Chris Ikonomidis, and Sime Grzan due to gastro, which they picked up in Vietnam after drawing 1-1 with Cong An Hanoi FC in the ACL Two.
- Liam Rose opened the scoring against Adelaide in the 11th minute.
- Jonny Yull hit back for the Reds before halftime.
- Ji Dong-Won restored the lead in the 64th minute to fire Macarthur to their first win of the season.
The win allowed the Bulls to rise from the bottom of the A-League Men table.
Macarthur FC have brushed off illness to beat Adelaide 2-1.
