Ned Nwoko on South-East Unrest
Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, attributes the lingering unrest in the South-East to years of marginalisation by successive administrations.
The problem in the South-East has to do with the perceived injustice by successive governments.
Nwoko argues that peace would return to the region if the Federal Government addresses two key issues:
- the creation of Anioma State
- the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
Author's summary: Senator Ned Nwoko links South-East unrest to marginalisation.
